ERGO is a decentralized and open-source cryptocurrency that introduces multiple improvements to different layers of the blockchain. ERGO intends to create a truly decentralized platform and provide accessible tools for trustless blockchain exploration and verification.
ERGO is the open protocol that implements modern scientific ideas in the blockchain area. ERGO operates an open contributor model where anyone is welcome to contribute.
ERGO draws on ten years of blockchain development, complementing tried and tested principles with the best peer-reviewed academic research into cryptography, consensus models and digital currencies.
Ergo is following the fundamental approach and use stable well-tested solutions, even if that leads to slower short-term innovations.
